WIP!
The wind was blowing harshly, my forelock was bein forced into my eyes. I snorted loudly, shaking my dial furiously before tilting it so that the hair was blowing a bit more nicely. I stood atop a small hill, looking around curiously. I could see many other pairs frolicking around in the wind and I hated it. Well, hated wasn't the right word, I was jealous. I was never wanted, at least, by stallions. I didn't understand it either. It's not like I was really different! I snorted, pinning my ears and striking out with a foreleg. It wasn't my fault!
I grumbled, turning to place my rump towards the other equines, deciding that I'd rather deal with my mane basically trying to eat my face than have to watch more of that sappy stuff. The sappy stuff that I wanted for myself. I sighed heavily, clenching my teeth in anger. So I was a bit different! It's not like I was truly defective! I grumbled, moving into a walk, the wind acting like it was trying to push me into a greater speed and I was fighting it. I didn't want to be shoved around more than I already was. Of course, most beings that tried to push me around soon got hooves in the ribs or teeth in the neck, whichever was a more viable option.
I knew if I stayed out in the open that no doubt some stallion would eventually take a shine to me, thinking I was a mare from a distance. I had a very delicate build that nobody would think a stallion could ever have. Hell, I didn't even have the crest or jowls of a stallion! And so they'd court me for awhile, at least, until they realized that I was of the same gender and then they'd get ticked at me and attack like I had done something wrong! Sometimes I won, sometimes I fled, more often than not though I stayed and fought. It wasn't my fault they were idiots! I sighed heavily as I reached a thicket of trees, the wind suddenly dieing down and I smiled faintly.
