200 YEARS EARLIER. . .
Humans used to rule these lands. They nearly destroyed it. Horses were been chased from their homelands. Used for sport and killed more often than not when they were forced into things that their bodies just didn't know how to do. So they died, one after the other. Man did not see the majesty that they once had in horses. All they saw was an animal to be used against its will to serve them and suffer at their hands, but that was all about to change. One fateful night, the stars rained down from the heavens, casting a fiery glow. The humans ran, screaming as they did so, while the equines of this place stood by and watched. They had no faith in themselves. They knew the end was coming, but it never happened. When the chaos had died down and the horses finally risked a look around, they realized that they were free. The humans were dead and there was nothing to stand in their paths any longer. Or so they thought.
They moved on, away from the carnage that had befallen the only home they'd known, to find a world untouched by the hands of man. It was lush and beautiful and they believed they could find peace here. That was until the Gods showed up. Panic swam through them as these heavenly beings descended from the Sky, rose from the Ocean and materialized from the Earth. Without realizing what they were doing, they bowed to the great creatures before them. The creatures stood taller than most equines, towering over many. The Gods spoke out, declaring that they had been the ones to set them free, but now it was time to pay them back. They were asked to choose a side and follow it whole heartedly. Some went to Zeus, seeing him as the center of power. Others when to Poseidon, taking faith in his majestic being and calm demeanor. Then, there was Hades. The equines that followed him were bloodthirsty beings or souls that were so lost that they didn't know who they followed. Though there were some that did not follow any of the Big Three. They soon discovered that minor Gods roamed among them, messengers of the Big Three. Demigods began appearing among them, born of mortal mothers and fathers, it was not know just what role the Demigods would play in this world.
PRESENT DAY. . .
War rages between the Gods, though there are still times of peace, they are becoming fewer and fewer. Many horses don't even remember a time when there was not a threat at their boarders. While some, the oldest of them all, remember a life where there was peace. No one knows that set the Gods off on this wild war, but no one dares to ask them; for fear that they might lose the gifts of magic and power they have gained from their leaders. So, they fight without knowing the cause. Often times they follow Demigods into battle, but that is become more and more uncommon, for the mortals of this world have come to resent these special equines. They are the most powerful of them, standing under the minor Gods in strength, beauty and intelligence, they are feared and many mortals wish to destroy them all. With the fear of the Gods fury always at their backs, they must look to each other to find peace once more.
Athena has turned her back on this war and is bringing those who hold no allegiance to the Big Three to her. Zeus and Hades are furious and willing to do anything to stop here. Poseidon is losing hope in this war and only wishes for peace. Ares has claimed he will fight with Hades armies. Apollo has shunned his sister, Artemis for leaving him and Zeus to side with Poseidon. Chaos ensues in the world of the Gods while on Earth, heroes rise among the Demigods as they band together with their brothers and sisters, but it seems lineage is still holding them back from working with the others. Sons and daughters of the Big Three make peace with those whose parents among the minor Gods have sided with their father, but no one can see the next move coming. No one knows what will happen next. You must decide, for you are one of the many pieces to this great puzzle. . .
